Mr. Harcus is incorrect. In the last election, the CCNP neighborhoods hosted a Forum with all of the pre-primary candidates. Mr Harcus was included and he participated.
So did current Mayor RT Rybak. Too bad he didn't help us remember that fact the night of the debate. We did not shut Mr. Harcus out in 2001. Based on that 2001 experience, the CCNP group decided on having 3 candidates and those were chosen by who had registered and responded to us by Feb. when we started planning and advertising this event.

Letters were sent to all candidates who were registered by the July 21st deadline to come and participate in the Forum and to bring their information. We even extended the timeline 1 hour to accommodate and have a Meet and Greet.

We did not hear from Mr. Harcus until 1 day before the Forum. We have had it advertised for 3 months now.
