Lester Hoikka's painted tin constructions embody a familiar and wonderful painting style reminiscent of art objects that are associated with Mexican Day of the Dead. Lester Hoikka's new work combines this passion for color with his interest in tin toys manufactured in 1920s to 1950s in the US and Asia.
