Ten Times Out: MFA 10-year Alumni Juried Show at MCAD
The Minneapolis College of Art and Design is celebrating the 10-year
anniversary of its Master of Fine Arts in Visual Studies program with "Ten Times Out," an exhibition of work by the program's distinguished alumni. The exhibition, juried by Thom Barry (Thomas Barry Fine Arts), Kris Douglas (chief curator at Rochester Art Center) and Kristin Makholm (MCAD's Gallery and Exhibitions Director) highlights the talent and continued excellence that defines MCAD's MFA alumni. Selected works include installation, drawing, painting, illustration, comic art, furniture, graphic design, photography and sculpture. MCAD is located at 2501 Stevens Avenue in south Minneapolis, adjacent to The Children's Theatre Company and The Minneapolis Institute of Arts. Reception: Saturday, Nov. 5, 5:30-7 p.m.. Event runs through Nov. 26.
