Raven Productions, a rapidly growing press from Ely Minnesota is sending two children's authors to Magers and Quinn. Both authors present in interactive ways, eliciting interest and participation from the kids.

Renowned author and illustrator Consie Powell will show 2 of her books: Leave Only Ripples and Old Dog Cora. She will present a display on the book making process where the children can do a bit of woodblock art themselves.

Kevin Strauss is an author and professional storyteller. He will do a reading and storytelling performance of his new book- Loon and Moon. Members of the Twin Cities' storytelling community would find his work interesting. He will be available for discussion after the performance and booksigning.

The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Parents of children with special food needs should contact us in advance to make arrangements.
